STEP 3 EXPERT OZONE INFO

This page gives you the final information you need to get started using our ozone technology. Along with safety and maintenance information, this page discusses technical information useful for those who wish to use ozone technology as a business. Once finished, continue to the next page to find your project on our list of uses for our ozone systems.

Safety...

Operating an ozone generator properly requires following some simple guidelines. If followed correctly they are very safe to use.

Common sense will guide you most of the way. For example, when you turn on the MaxBlaster you will almost immediately begin to notice the smell of ozone gas. While not harmful to breathe in for a short amount of time, you will notice uncomfort in your throat or lungs if inhaled for more than a minute or so. Therefore, prepare the room first, then prepare to exit the room as soon as the unit is turned on. When turning off, prepare to vent the room and exit quickly again and wait another 30 minutes before re-entering and returning the room to normal.

We offer safety masks and automatic timers in our store for extra pre-caution and ease-of-use (on/off).

In addition to common sense, remember to prepare the room by removing pets, and plants before use. Because it is an electric machine, use caution when operating near any water. For specific safety tips for your unique project feel free to call us first.

Maintenance...

At one end of the MaxBlaster you will notice a white foam filter. You can simply snap off the black mesh outer piece to remove the filter and run under water to clean every so often.

The internal assembly is not designed to be removed on your own. Although we have seen only a handful of cases where our generator pack needs maintenance, we do offer free maintenance and shipping as part of our warranty (see OUR STORE page).

Mica...

A key component in the assembly of our units is mica. We use a combination of mica plates and mica bars in our generator packs.

While our competitors like to say how fragile mica can be in efforts to sell their own technologies we simply have not found this to be the case in the over 1500 units we have sold.

The commercial quality mica product we use, supplied from manufacturers across the USA is thick, strong, and is assembled in such a way to protect it from any such damage. Can you remove the plates easily to put new ones in like some other manufacturers? No... because the plates we use allow for hundreds of hours of use before a complete replacement would even be considered. This isn't a sales line... it is a fact proven by over 1500 customers.

.

Oxides of Nitrogen...

The air we breathe contains a high percentage of nitrogen gas. When this nitrogen gas passes through the MaxBlaster oxides of nitrogen are produced. Similar to ozone gas it is not safe to inhale large quantities of these nitrous oxides, however, normal use of an ozone generator will not cause damage to you or the valuables in your home.

Excessive use can create issues so please contact us first if you plan on operating your MaxBlaster unit on a continual basis over an extended period of time.

Ultra Violet Light versus Corona Discharge...

The process by which we produce our ozone is called the corona discharge method. Another common production method is ultra-violet light.

Ultra violet light is a proven and effective way to produce ozone, however, it is usually associated with lower output levels and with units designed to run while people are present (think room air purifier).

The difference in our method is we produce shock levels of ozone designed to perform complete treatment to a room that is vacant.

We support the use of ultra-violet light, however, like to point out that comparing the two technolgies is comparing apples to oranges.

Call us if you'd like to discuss all methods of ozone production

Start-Up-Business Package...

In the last year we have worked with several individuals who have purchased our equipment to begin their own, unique ozone service business. Some of these companies are now doing extremely well.

(ex: advanced-purification.com)

This experience has led us to believe that our systems can benefit anyone with a little entrepreneurial spirit make money in the ozone industry.

While you can get started with as little as one of our units, we now offer a complete package for those serious about taking advantage of this growing industry.
